Craft Sportswear is a Scandinavian supplier of functional sportswear and promotional clothing. The new headquarters spans approximately 2,400 square meters and brings together around 60 employees. The property is owned by Pulsen Fastigheter, which selected Oaks as the subcontractor for building automation and control systems.
“To create a stable and comfortable indoor environment, we chose to install Regin’s RCX room controller paired with the RTX transmitter. This gave us a smart and comprehensive room control solution capable of managing the indoor climate based on both temperature and CO2 levels in different parts of the building,” says Karl Fröman, Project Manager at Oaks.
Thanks to smart communication capabilities, setpoints can also be overridden when needed, making it possible to temporarily adjust temperature or ventilation in specific zones without changing the system’s default settings.
“This gives us greater flexibility in day-to-day operations while also allowing energy use to be optimized based on how the workspace is actually being used,” Karl explains.
However, the benefits were not limited to the final result. Installation and configuration were carried out smoothly via Bluetooth using the Regin:GO app, streamlining the commissioning process on site.
“RCX is incredibly easy to configure and very straightforward to work with. The time from unboxing the product to having it fully operational was very short, which is especially valuable in projects where many units need to be installed and configured,” says Karl.
In addition to functionality, design also played an important role in the choice of solution. The controllers’ sleek design allows them to blend naturally into the environment and contribute to a consistent overall aesthetic.
“The attractive design across the entire Regio range is definitely a major advantage. The products have a modern and discreet look that fits perfectly with the design-conscious office environment Craft wanted to create for its employees,” Karl concludes.
