The SCS-M2 master unit is the main controller in the Regin smoke control system and can be used as a stand-alone system. Designed for effortless and easy configuration, it ensures swift setup and seamless operation. Featuring a robust IP65 casing, the master unit boasts durability and with its lightweight design it is easy to mount on the wall, offering convenience without compromise. With the capacity to directly interface with up to three fire dampers, two smoke detectors, a thermostat, and a temperature sensor, it guarantees prompt activation of crucial components in the event of a fire. The unit is also expandable with SCS-S2 damper units to accommodate a total of 60 dampers. Moreover, it seamlessly integrates with automatic fire alarm systems (AFA) and activation buttons. In the event of a fire (emergency), or during routine system checks, the air handling unit (AHU) is automatically halted for safety. The Regin smoke control system can be connected to a building management system (BMS) which communicates via Modbus/BACnet.
With the 63VA transformer included, smaller systems can be run with SCS-M2 power only.
