Hi Michiel, could you tell us a bit about yourself?
I have spent the last 20 years in various roles within the automation industry, with experience in both industrial and building automation at companies such as Honeywell and Johnson Controls. My passion lies in the control technology sector, and I enjoy working in an environment where innovation and regional impact go hand in hand.
Outside of work, I live in the quiet village of Gellicum in the Betuwe region. In my spare time, I prioritize spending quality time with friends and family.
What made you apply to Regin, and what does your new role involve?

I strongly believe that a healthy and motivated team is the foundation for long-term success. From a business perspective, I’m focused on streamlining processes and strengthening our market position.
What challenges and opportunities do you see in the industry?
The industry is evolving rapidly, driven by changing energy policies and technological advancements. While staying agile is one of the biggest challenges, the opportunities are significant. I believe that smart automation and regulatory compliance will play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of the building sector.
