The configuration app Regin:GO was launched in April 2024, at the same time as Regio RCX hit the market. Since then, it has become an efficient tool for installers and integrators for wireless installation and configuration of Regin’s wireless products via Bluetooth. And as more wireless products are introduced, Regin:GO will continue to be a key factor in our success.
Gunnar Åberg, Product Manager for Regin:GO, why are we investing so much in Regin:GO right now?
“It is, quite simply, our guiding star for all our new wireless products. It is the cornerstone of what we do, where our goal is to make all products connectable via Bluetooth. And Regin:GO is the natural puzzle piece for that.”
Tell us more about Regin:GO’s functions and strengths.
“Regin:GO streamlines installation. You can stand next to the device and have immediate wireless access to it via your phone, both during preparation and on-site. The other major function is its CLOUD connection, allowing real-time access to current information. Regin:GO is currently a tool for configuration and commissioning, but our vision is for it to become much more.
We are planning and working proactively to add support for the entire project workflow. For instance, when commissioning 100 RCXs in a project, you can prepare the 100 rooms in CLOUD, activate different settings, and check off protocols for tested rooms. Everything will be logged in CLOUD. This approach aligns with requirements and guidelines for installation documentation.”
How does Regin:GO make work more efficient?
“One strength of Regin:GO is that it reduces skill requirements. Many of our customers divide the work so that a specialist does the preparatory work at the office and then hands over the on-site installation to a colleague with less experience. This way, responsibility is shared, knowledge is spread, and the process becomes more efficient.”
Regin:GO was updated in October 2025. What did that update include?
“We live in a world where cybersecurity is high on many agendas. In the latest update, we added features that make it safer and easier to manage wireless products — and the Regin:GO app follows those improvements.
We also added each product manual directly in the app, so users can easily find it there, for both RCX and RTX.”
