Since the launch in spring 2024, Storfors Styr has used Regin:GO and the Regio RCX room controller in several projects, purchasing around 100 units so far. And it's not just CEO Martin Lindahl and his colleagues who are satisfied with the functionality — their customers are just as impressed.
"Once we introduce Regio RCX together with Regin:GO, our customers immediately see the value of the combination. Many of the people we talk to are tech enthusiasts, and with all the features that come with Regio, they get everything they’re looking for. It may cost a little more, but the amount of data they gain access to is worth it. It actually exceeds their already high expectations," says Martin.
Earlier this spring, Regio RCX received the Red Dot Design Award 2025: Product Design. Even to the untrained eye in the field of building automation, the product stands out. For Martin, functionality and time savings are the top benefits — but the sleek design certainly doesn’t hurt when presenting the final result to customers.
"It’s definitely a good-looking product. You can tell there’s a design focus behind Regio RCX, and when it was launched last year, it was something the industry had been waiting for."
Martin is more than satisfied with the performance of both Regio RCX and Regin:GO. For him, they’ve made the entire project process — from start to finish — much smoother. And that’s something he’s happy to pass on to his customers and partners.
"You get everything in one product: occupancy control, CO₂ measurement, and temperature. We use the Modbus protocol and I haven’t encountered any issues. Normally, there’s always some minor hassle when controllers are installed on-site — small things that can delay the process. But now that we can sit down in peace and test every function and install the controllers one by one, it’s so much easier," Martin concludes.
