Regin’s product range isn’t something new for Henk and his colleagues. The Dutch HVAC installation company has worked with Regin products for several years and is familiar with the portfolio.
“When the RCX was introduced, we felt that it was an excellent successor to the Regio Midi-controller that we had used frequently before”, says Henk.
During the test period, he saw a solid product with a clear and attractive design.
“The product has exceeded my expectations. The more you use the product, the more applications you discover. It’s easy to operate, and our customers appreciate a well-designed product that integrates naturally into their properties”, says Henk.
So far, Henk and Burg Installatietechniek have used Regio RCX in five utility projects, including sports facilities and office buildings, where the controllers communicate with the Arrigo building management system.
“This product is becoming our new standard controller for various applications, so many more projects will definitely follow”, says Henk.
Regio RCX is a flexible controller that can be configured and installed using both the Windows-based software Application Tool, and via the Regin:GO app. Depending on the size and requirements of the project, each tool offers different advantages.
“I use them both. Regin:GO helps me assign addresses to the RCX controllers, while Application Tool helps me with configuration and integration with the overarching building management system, as well as remote adjustments and changes. The tools are very easy to navigate, simple to adjust, and have a very clear structure,” says Henk.
