The Jury – Regin Energy Saver Awards

A jury with a solid, genuine expertise in building automation


We hope the Regin Energy Saver Awards will provide lots of attention for both the nominated companies and the winners. That’s why we leave nothing to chance as far as selection is concerned.


We are therefore proud to present a jury with a solid experience and different areas of expertise in energy efficiency. We also wish to take this opportunity to thank all jury members for participating in evaluating all entries. We already know it’s not going to be easy to choose between all the amazing projects – especially considering this is a global competition.


The jury of 2016 consists of:


Erik Eriksson, Head of Unit, Swedish Energy Agency  

Erik Eriksson has been Head of unit at the Swedish Energy Agency since 2010. His unit works with the international energy and climate policy. That includes international and national instruments, as well as expert support to the government in the UN Climate Negotiations for exemple. The unit also conducts activities aimed at promoting Swedish energy technology and Swedish energy companies on international markets. This is done within the framework of the government's export strategy. 2006 Erik got an  PhD at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.


Robert Norin, Operations Manager, Fastighets AB Balder

Robert Norin is Operations Manager at Fastighets AB Balder. A listed real estate company with local roots will meet different customer's needs of premises and homes in the metropolitan regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Öresund and in growth areas. As Operations Manager, Robert has responsibility that the approximately 500 properties are thriving on energy and climate, and that they develop in a market-efficient and manner.


Magnus Sahlin, Head of Sales Management, E.ON Connecting Energies GmbH

Magnus Sahlin work as Head of Sales Management at E.ON, based at the headquarters in Germany. He started his career as an energy adviser, also, he has for many years been sales manager for electricity, heat, gas and energy services in Sweden.


Christer Kilersjö, CEO, EKSTA Bostads AB   

Christer Kilersjö is CEO of Kungsbacka Municipality's real estate company. EKSTA investing in environmentally sensible accommodations, including solar energy, which they have been well-established in for a long time. Economy, Quality, Service, Comfort and Responsibility are the key words and the abbreviation of what EKSTA stands for.    


Martin Persson, Head of Department, Bengt Dahlgren AB

Martin Persson is head of the building automation department at Bengt Dahlgren AB – one of the largest engineering consulting companies in Sweden. Martin has a solid business experience from his time as a consultant, and has previously held positions within ordering and as a control contractor.


Leif Brattschöld, CEO, Director, AB Regin

Leif Brattschöld, CEO at AB Regin, has been active in the building automation industry for over 30 years. In 1989 he became one of the three main shareholders in the company and has since worked actively to develop Regin to become a global supplier with one of the widest range of systems and products for building automation.
